About Middleeast.directory
Middleeast.directory is being built as a practical business directory for the Middle East. Its purpose is to help users find businesses, understand country and market context, and access useful resources for starting or operating a business.
The directory is planned around country hubs, business categories, local guides and entrepreneur stories. The initial coverage model includes Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Coverage will grow only where there is a sustainable source, review and correction process.
What the directory will publish

- Entrepreneur and leadership profiles based on attributable, reviewable information.
- Practical information for owners who want to add, correct or claim a listing.
Accuracy, claims and verification
Businesses and members of the public should be able to request corrections or removals of inaccurate information. A listing claim is a request to manage a listing; it is not itself a verification decision. Any verification label must be based on documented evidence and human review, and will be explained by a published standard.
We do not present advertising, premium placement or payment as proof of verification, quality, safety or editorial endorsement. Paid visibility, where offered, must be clearly labelled and kept separate from organic discovery, verification and reviews.
How listing information is handled
Listings are intended to use public, business-facing information and source records that can be reviewed. The directory should not collect passwords, bank details, identity-document scans or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary listing, correction or claim forms. We will use a documented source register, provenance notes and a regular review process for published information.
Content and contributor standards
Guides are editorial information, not legal, financial, tax, immigration or investment advice. Requirements vary by country, sector, activity and circumstance. Readers should confirm important decisions with the relevant official authority and qualified advisers.
Entrepreneur profiles and submissions must not contain copied biographies, fabricated achievements, undisclosed sponsorships or unverified claims. Contributors should provide sources and permission for materials they submit. We may edit, decline or remove content that does not meet these standards.
Corrections and contact
If information is inaccurate, out of date, privacy-sensitive or potentially unlawful, please use the directory’s correction and takedown route once it is activated. Include the listing URL or business name, a description of the issue and any relevant public evidence. Do not send passwords, financial data or identity documents through a public form.
